Al Ghurair Iron & Steel LLC

Al Ghurair Iron & Steel LLC (AGIS) is a flat steel cold rolling and galvanising producer, established in 2009 and based at Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD) in Mussafah. We are a joint venture between the Al Ghurair Group of the UAE and Nippon Steel Corporation of Japan.

We are the first and only flat steel cold rolling and galvanising complex in the UAE, and one of the largest producers of galvanised steel in the MENA region. Our plant runs a semi-continuous pickling line, a 6-Hi reversing cold rolling mill and two continuous galvanising lines.

We supply hot-dip galvanised coil from 0.20 to 2.50 mm thick and up to 1,250 mm wide, to construction, steel fabrication and other non-automotive industries. Our customers are in the UAE and across the MENA region and beyond, and we move product through Etihad Rail's facilities at ICAD.
